Hmm. I need you guys to recommend blogs/shops/sites I might like. :) A lot of the people I used to visit are gone. So help me out here and recommend some people or things to me. :D Pleaseeee? I need some more dailies! It'll help me get back into the swing of things. We also got Firefighter(Mimiron Hard Mode) last night on team one's 10m. Woot! We should have had it over a month a go, if not more, but for various reasons we couldn't get everyone in the group together at the same time to raid. So we either went with subs or didn't go at all. :( But last night rocked and we had so much fun. I bet my mom was wondering what the hell was going on up here. We both screamed when we got it, along with everyone else on vent! lol Oops. Kai and I are so proud of our team! We were able to do it in 3 attempts. Woot. Now to get Yoggy down with zero/one Keeper(One Light in the Darkness), and finish our dwarves for Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare for our drakes. Then we need to destroy Algalon for the title dun dun dun Starcaller Lunaspire! <3 Ehehehe I'm so excited. We should have our Rusted Proto-Drakes next week. Ah yes, blizz also took the 15k that they gave us. But thanked me profusely for being so honest. :D Yay!
So news on my mom and Gerry. It turns out that he thinks my mom is having "sexual relations" with a friend/ministry partner of theirs. Which she is not. He has been a very loyal, good friend to them. He helps my mom with her water business as well as anything else she might need help with. He also helps with their Monday night ministry classes. The other day when my mom decided to go home, because Gerry was in such a good mood? Bad idea. After their ministry class he stayed until everyone else had left. He asked my mom if she wanted to go to the restaurant down the street and get some food. She told him that she couldn't that night because she was utterly exhausted. So she said she was going to go upstairs to her room and go to sleep. He responded with "No, you're going to sleep in my bed". Yep. Here it comes. She said "What?", and he proceeded to tell her how she was going to be staying in his room, in his bed, because they haven't had "sexual relations" in two years. Demanded keys to the shop again and keys to the office, and the car, and anything else he didn't have keys for. Told her that being in one accord meant being together sexually. Now for most people, that's fine. For my mom? Not fine. She's never been one to be okay with a partner. When she has no respect for someone, or fears them, when she has no trust, she can't be with someone. She'd be perfectly happy living a completely celibate life. With Gerry, that isn't okay. She can't be with him for several reasons. But that hasn't stopped him from constantly bringing it up. Which stresses her out and scares her. So of course she went into a panic. Called me to tell me what happened then called Dawn, and her friend to go help my mom get out of there.
So they get there help my mom and follow her home. Well the next day my mom gets a call from Pastor Jack. A friend of theirs who has been helping Gerry and checking on him. He tells my mom that Gerry has called him to tell him that my mom is having "sexual relations" with their friend. And that she's been sneaking off with him and having an affair. Also that last night he came over in a different car and went inside and came out a little while later and they left in different directions. There was more to it, but that's pretty much the sum. He also went on again about how my mom was sending me/us money, which she wasn't. >.< *sigh*
Today he called my phone and left a message asking me to call him back. So I did. He wanted to know if I knew where my mom was. I told him she'd been staying here but I wasn't sure where she was at the moment because she wasn't home. Then he wanted to know if I had a key for the shop, to which I said no. He said he needed to get in there, and that she never gave him a key(for good reason). So I asked him if he needed to have something picked up. He said no, he needed to get in there to check on his blood pressure medication since she was going to be gone for awhile. I told him that it wasn't in there(which it's not), and that my mom had it here because she's been making up his supplements. He says "Oh, okay, Bye" and hangs up.
So then my mom asks me to call him back and see if he is going to his check up tomorrow. So I call back and tell him that Dr. Mega's office called and left a message with my mom saying that he has a check up tomorrow(which is true, they did), and that they needed confirmation on whether or not he was going to go. He asked me who Dr. Mega was. I told him it was his memory doctor and that it was a six months check up to see how much he's improved since he stopped drinking. He asked me who he was again, and asked if he was the blood pressure doctor. So I told him again who he was and he asked how he got that appointment and said he didn't know who that doctor was and that he wouldn't be going. So I said okay, and said I'd let them know and he hung up. Goodness...
My mom was given information for another group here that has no fee and will actually go out to the house and check up on him and do an investigation, thank goodness. Dr. Mega's receptionist told my mom that she needs to get documentation from all the people he's been around in the past couple of months for any incidents that have happened. So I have to write up a paper on how he opened the car door and stepped out while the car was still moving when I took him to the store, and information on the phone conversations we've had. That way they can't say my mom is lying, or anything like that. She isn't, but knowing his kids, they would go there. None of them like her, and they only want money from Gerry. This is such a bad situation. And it will only get worse if things don't change. :angry:
This has turned into one long post. >.> Gonna throw up a review later and post some things from Etsy that are super cute. :) And I think I've decided on curry stew for dinner. Mmmm. Also, random... Today alone I've seen about twelve commercials on mesothelioma. I imagine people living in old homes or working in old businesses are being diagnosed with it. :( Those places have asbestos really bad. That stuff is no good. You can't get rid of it without tearing stuff down. The bubble ceiling here might have it. It was put up during the years when they used it. :( I'll be glad to get out of here. I'm grateful we've had a home to live in, but I'm not grateful for the problems we've had with it.

My friend Georgia got me hooked on the Diamond Shine products by Zotos. Seriously, best shampoo/conditioner I've used since they discontinued the Mega by Aussie. Seriously I love this stuff, and it's not expensive at all. When I purchased it they even had a buy 2 get 1 free sale going on. With my Sally's card I got the Moisture Shampoo/Conditioner, Rinse Out Glaze, and the Gloss Drops for $14. Awesome price. Now I wash my hair every day, so far it's lasted me over a month. I still have about ¼ of a bottle of shampoo and conditioner left, and the rinse out glaze has ½ of the bottle left. Really, a very good price.
Diamond Shine haircare is made with a potent blend of real diamond micro-particles, panthenol, and keratin, that instantly infuses hair with high-gloss, radiant shine and exceptional strength. Diamond Shine is color-safe with UV protectants.
Now I have to say I love, love, love the shampoo/conditioner/glaze, but I can do without the gloss drops. They didn't do much for me. I much prefer another brand I've been using for several years now. But over all I do love these products. The shampoo cleans well, doesn't take much. The conditioner isn't oily or heavy and I don't need to use much even for my dry hair. The rinse out glaze I only use twice a week like it says on the bottle and I must admit my hair has been looking better and shinier without having to use the gloss spray I have. Also, hopefully, one day, in the future, while I'm still alive, I want Kai to build me a new system. My poor HP has been nice, and reliable, but it's nothing to brag about and certainly sucks at running WoW or any other game for that matter. We won't talk about how it hates me when I run Photoshop or Illustrator. :( I want to stab it every time it crashes as I am uploading photos, or editing them. le sigh I keep telling Kai I want an awesome sauce system with a pink tower with Hello Kitty lazered out on the side! YEAH! Shh I'm dreaming. But dreams come true right? I think my list would have to be Computer first, though. I use it the most, for so many things. I really wish it ran better. :( In due time though.

Woot. Blizz came through. They returned the 5k they forgot to send me, and returned the 15k from the guild bank, along with an extra 15k. I put in a ticket letting them know they gave us 30k instead of 15. Maybe we'll get lucky and be rewarded for honesty, eh eh? ;) It only took 2ish years but I finished leveling my hunter to 80 earlier this year. The past couple of months I've been working on my Priest who is almost 80! Woot she's 77 as we speak. We're in the process of trying to come up with a good guild name. We want to start fresh with a new guild due to drama involving past leadership. It no longer feels like home, but leaves a bad taste in your mouth. So if anyone can think of anything funny/amusing let me know! My current vote is Hello Kitty's Litter Box, or Hello Squidy which our dear Kinon(Benji) came up with. :hk: Hehehe I generally don't talk about gaming here, but I think I shall start. It is a part of our life, after all Kai and I met when we first starting playing World of Warcraft. We've been married for almost three years this November.
For starters right now we are running a guild along with the rest of our wonderful and amazing class leaders, named Iliad on Stormrage. Which as I've said we're looking to change. :D Clan Tata, comprised of Tieria, Cliche, Kinon and Bismol, are a group of friends we met when we started playing again. We're going to have the chance to actually meet up with them and hang out when we go to California for Thanksgiving. They live in the same area as Kai's family. Our main toons are both druids. I play a doomchicken named Lunaspire and Kai plays a resto druid named Zaltak. :) We truly enjoy playing with the people in our guild. We've got a really good group of people who are all different and interesting. So this ended up being a bit of a ramble and disconnected I think. Anyways, looking forward to the new xpac immensely. It reminds both Kai and I of EQ. Something we miss but could never go back to. The new xpac is going to be super fun I think. :D
Now if I could just get a beta key for Hello Kitty online.... T.T PLEASE! I BEG OF THEE! ALSO you must check out Kinon's comic Dubious Company and Georgia's nerdalicious game and miscellaneous updates at NerdSalad! They are guildies and awesome peeps. ^.~
Someone remind me I must take new photos of Kai. I either forget or he doesn't let me! I also need a card for my camera. I can't seem to find one of them. Poop. I'm so, so glad my camera doesn't use micro sd cards. With the way I lose things, I'd lose them and never find them. I also need a camera bag. I've never used the one that I got free. It was oddly shaped and annoying. Now if I could just find one I like that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. -.-
OH also. My mom talked to Gerry today. Odd conversation. She left it on speakerphone so I could hear. He was happy as a Lark. Apparently there was a prophecy today and today is the day for all believers. He never elaborated. Also he closed out their bank account because he insists my mom is transferring us all of their funds. Which she is not, and in fact has never transferred money to us from that account. He kept saying he forgave her for what she did to him, and that God was shooting power through his body and was pushing him forward and backwards. It was seriously strange. A lot of it made no sense, the stuff that made sense, still made no sense. Fortunately his doctor moved his appointment up to this Thursday. The nurse called him and told him it was just an appointment to see how much better he's gotten since he stopped drinking alcohol. They figured he would still refuse if they called it an evaluation. Which is probably true. So as of now, I don't know how things are going to work out, or when we'll be moving. But hopefully things work out and he voluntarily goes to Michigan to be with his daughter. No one wants to force him out. But he definitely can't stay there, and my mom can't afford to stay there alone.
Yup I think that's it for the night. Off to play my priest since the children's are in bed! Woot! <3
